Explore the opportunities for women at Christ Church Liverpool. Our women's ministry programme offers safe, friendly places where you can get to know other women at church and grow in your faith in Jesus. We would love you to join us!
We want to provide informal and more formal training opportunities for learning and growing together. We have women from very different backgrounds and stages of life, and God has put different things on our hearts.
We have regular opportunities for growing in relationship and being discipled together through Saturday Breakfasts (in homes) and Women’s Seminar Mornings (at the Church Centre).
We’re looking to express the biblical principles of intentional ‘training’ relationships in our church family: Older women teaching younger women (Titus 2:3-6) and passing the baton on (2 Tim 2:2).
Our Women's brunches are an opportunity to take a bit of time out to be together, enjoy brunch, and think a bit more about a topic or aspect of life where we can grow together.
Loneliness, or dissatisfaction can sneak up on us in different ways or at different points in our life - maybe life isn't quite as you thought it would be at this point in your life, or you have what you hoped for, but it doesn't feel as you expected, or maybe you just want to grow in joy!
We would love to consider together what satisfaction and contentment looks like, how we can grow in finding our joy in Christ whatever our circumstances. Join us as we hear from different women in our church share something of their story, and think about how we walk together on this journey of contentment in Christ.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I first came to Liverpool to study nursing, and then joined Christ Church when it started in 2003. Since then I've been working as a nurse in the Royal Liverpool Hospital, intermingled with a bit of time overseas and working with students. I have recently joined the staff team at Christ Church, and look after our Youth and Women's ministry. My heart is to see women flourish and equipped to grow and serve in the places God has called us to be, and that our women's ministry would provide an opportunity to do this as we walk alongside each other.
