Explore the opportunities for women at Christ Church Liverpool. Our women's ministry programme offers safe, friendly places where you can get to know other women at church and grow in your faith in Jesus. We would love you to join us!
We want to provide informal and more formal training opportunities for learning and growing together. We have women from very different backgrounds and stages of life, and God has put different things on our hearts.
We have regular opportunities for growing in relationship and being discipled together through Saturday Breakfasts (in homes) and Women’s Seminar Mornings (at the Church Centre).
We’re looking to express the biblical principles of intentional ‘training’ relationships in our church family: Older women teaching younger women (Titus 2:3-6) and passing the baton on (2 Tim 2:2).
Here at Christ Church, we want to help the women in our church to come together, get to know one another and build friendships. A great way to do this, is by coming on our walk! We’ll be meeting on Saturday 12th April at 10am at Delamere Forest outside the main cafe, where we’ll have the option of two walks:
*the big hill
*the lake trail (which is more accessible for prams with even ground)
Of course, this will be followed by coffee and cakes afterwards for anyone who wants to join.
Be sure to put the date in your diary, and sign up below!
As a church, we want to encourage one another to keep in step with the work of the Holy Spirit. To do this, we are running a six-week course called ‘Real Change’. The course is for anyone who wants to find out how the gospel changes us from the inside out – anyone who wants to take a look at what is going on in their heart and grow with God’s help to see Real Change.
The course involves Bible study, reflection and discussion in small groups, and will run at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoons until 30th March. It’s in the first floor conference room at our Church Centre, 12-14 Gildart Street, L3 8ET.
Spaces are limited, so please sign up as early as possible. The course handbook can be purchased here.
Lindsay is originally from Scotland and initially came to Liverpool to work as a Geologist before moving to Australia for a few years. While in Australia, she completed her Ministry Degree, and is now an Associate Minister at Christ Church Liverpool.
Lindsay is off ill at the moment, but when she is back, she'd love to talk to you about anything to do with Women's Ministry.
