Students

Liverpool is a great city to be a student in and with three universities we enjoy welcoming lots of national and international students into our church family.

If you're a student we do hope you will come along and check us out. We aim to offer students great Bible teaching, friendly faces, hospitality and the opportunity to study the Bible and pray with an older Christian through your time at university.

One of the things we're really keen on is students committing to being a part of what goes on at Christ Church and even becoming members of our church. Committing to Christ Church as a student doesn't mean that you can't be involved in the CU or other things and we actively encourage all our students to get involved with Liverpool City CU.

In terms of time, committing to Christ Church as a student means giving us your Sunday. Firstly coming along to our Sunday morning meeting which is the main meeting of our church family. Then on Sunday evenings during term time we run a meeting called 'The Training Field'. Come along for a meal at 7.30pm followed by an hour long meeting starting at 8pm. On 'The Training Field' we cover a range of subjects aiming to get us fit for the Christian life. These include an overview of the Bible, an indepth look at a couple of books of the Bible and some topics like guidance, sex and relationships. All the subjects are taught in an informal and friendly atmosphere with lots of opportunity to ask your questions.

The most recent programme for Sunday mornings and evenings is available here. If you have any questions about being a student in Liverpool do get in touch.
