Christ Church Liverpool

As a group of people we passionately believe that the message about Jesus is good news for everyone. It's not something we want to hide or about which we're embarrased.

We also think that because the message about Jesus is true and from God himself it can stand up to tough questions and explain the world in which we live.

Christ Church@Aldo's Place
About once a month in the Aldo's Place bar in town (link to location map) we run an evening tackling a tricky question posed by our world and which we think the Bible has something to say about. Past evenings have looked at racism, homosexuality, poverty and Richard Dawkin's book 'God Delusion'. It's an informal gathering open to anyone who wants to come along. Christianity Explored
Christianity Explored is a short course run over 8-10 weeks looking at the basics of the Christian message from the book of Mark in the Bible. The course is run in a friendly home in the centre of town and includes an evening meal. Normally 2 groups are run, one specifically designed for those for whom english is a second language and the other running through the course more quickly. If you're interested then do get in touch. Tuesdays@One
It's an obvious fact that most of us spend most of our time at work! And for many that means working in an office or shop in central Liverpool. Tuesdays@One is designed to give those working in Liverpool an opportunity to hear about Jesus and ask their questions. Run on similar lines to Christ Church@Aldo's Place but at lunch time. Word in One City 2008
Linking in with the World in One City events when Liverpool is the European Capital of Culture in 2008 Word in One City is a series of events designed to give visitors and residents an opportunity to hear about Jesus. More information will be available towards the end of 2007.
