We have a growing number of children and babies at Christ Church and are glad to have them as part of our church family. |
On Sunday mornings we run 4 groups for the children. We run all our children's work alongside the morning meeting, with children leaving part way through the meeting and being collected by parents at the end. We aim to teach the gospel to the children that come along in a way that is fun, understandable and engaging.
We organise our children's work into 4 groups:
Christ Church Crèche - Babies aged 0-2 years. You are welcome to stay in the meeting with your baby; we don't mind a bit of noise. If you or your baby become uncomfortable at any point during the meeting feel free to take your baby to the crèche where there are trained helpers.
Christ Church Tots - Children 2-4 years, is a fun group with a mix of play, craft and a Bible story. The group is well run and you're welcome to leave your tots in the capable hands of the leaders while you return to the meeting to listen to the talk.
Christ Church Mini-Kids - Primary school age children. It gives children the chance to learn more of the gospel through craft, stories and fun activities.
Also if you're a woman at home during the week then there's a daytime Bible study group especially for you. With a crèche provided for preschool children you'll get an uninterrupted opportunity to chat and look together at how God's Word applies to you, a drink coffee with other women from our church family.
