Our ultimate goal at Christ Church Liverpool is to bring glory to God.

We aim to do this especially amongst people who live, work or study in Liverpool City Centre.

We believe that we will take part in God’’s plan to do this by:

Evangelism – introducing non-Christians to the person and work of Jesus Christ and encouraging them to believe in him .

Discipleship – training Christian believers by teaching the Bible in our main meetings and small groups.

Family – developing a church community where the transforming power of the Gospel can be seen in our words, attitudes and actions

Faith & work – encouraging all our members to think in a Christian way about their work and seek Christ-centred transformation in their workplaces.

Loving the city – doing good to everyone an working for the welfare of the church family and the city of Liverpool .

Loving the world – supporting evangelism and Christian living around the world in prayer, finance and by sending people.

Church Planting – starting other gospel centred churches in the city and the region.

We operate with three overarching principles:

A missional church. The point of the church is to show God’s character to the world, starting where he has put us.

A Biblical church. God’s word shapes both the things we do and how we do them.

A prayerful church. God’s rule means that we recognise everything we do is dependent on his kindness.
